Who We Are

We are  a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization found by young South Sudanese who have come together to contribute towards the development of their communities of South Sudan in the various fields such as General protection including Gender base violence (GBV and Child protection)), Nonviolence and Peacebuilding (NP), Governance and Civic Education (GCE), Community Empowerment and Gender (CEG), Food Security, Reproductive health services and HIV/AIDS and Reintegration of returnees, ex-combatants and internally displaced people.

The organization is managed by board of directors. It was registered with South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation commission (RRC) under NGOs’ act 2016 in Juba with the registration no 4,117.

WPO strikes to finding lasting solutions on Peace and developmental challenges facing people across South Sudan and mobilizing communities to determine their own development and self-determination.

Our Mission

We work with vulnerable women, youth and other relevant stakeholders to promote nonviolent mean of conflict resolutions, good governance, gender equity, Community Health & Sanitation, Education and community safety through training, community engagement, response research and advocacy.
